Sections and Meta Major Paired Registration
Learning Objective: Learn about Fall 2017 efforts and
discuss future opportunities
Brief Summary: In an effort to boost retention
and employ initiatives recommended by Complete College America, two strategies
were implemented with new incoming freshman during Summer Orientation related
to Fall 2017 registration. Learn what was implemented; discuss how to
incorporate these ideas into advising and mentoring students; and offer input
for next steps.
