Billings voice major Marisa Getchell, mezzo-soprano, in fulfillment of the
requirements for the Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance will present her
Senior Voice Recital on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at 7:30 P.M. in Cisel
Recital Hall.
The daughter of Jody Getchell and Joan Ferguson, Marisa graduated
from Billings Central High School in Billings and has studied voice with
Professor Douglas Nagel since 2014.
Miss Getchell has been an active
participant in MSU Billings Chamber Singers & University Choir and has also
been in many community productions including A Little Night Music, The
Magic Flute, and The Lantern Marriage.
Marisa’s recital will be accompanied by pianist Tim Schoessler, and vocalists
Malia Howell and Hanna Jandro.
Her program will consist of works by Wolf,
Schubert, Handel, Tchaikovsky as well as others. The recital is free of
admission charge and open to the public.
