Title: A Patent Primer for Research Faculty
This workshop will address:
- the definition of “invention” and “inventor”;
- the criteria for patentability;
- patent disclosure rules (the publication conundrum);
- election of title for government-funded inventions;
- government rights in government-sponsored inventions; and
- patent filing strategy and international protection for your
invention.
