Montana State University Billings Music Performance major,
Mady Johnson, will perform her junior clarinet recital on April 1, 2016, at
7:30 pm in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSUB main campus.
Johnson graduated in 2013 from Shepherd High School in
Shepherd, MT. She can be heard regularly in Billings playing in multiple university
ensembles including the Symphonic Band, Pep Band, and Jazz Ensemble, as well as
various local bands and musicals in the city.
Recently, Mady had the opportunity to perform with Wayne
Bergeron at the 2016 MSUB Jazz Festival.
Johnson is a student of Gary Behm. The program will include
works by Paul Hindemith, George Gershwin, and Johannes Brahms. Mady will be
accompanied by pianist, Tim Schoessler.
The recital is free and open to the public.
